The Dead Tones- 6 Feet Down…And Rising
Arizona has been pumping out some great music ever since I can remember, and this fearsome foursome is no exception. Among their arsenal is of course a lead guitar that is fucking fantastic, supported by a some serious talent on the drums which is only enhanced with the rhythmic thumping of our dearly beloved doghouse. The fourth & final addition is a farfisa organ to add that extra creepy sound the Dead Tones are known for. Lyrically sticking to the horror theme, you’ll hear tales of all kinds of things that go bump in the night (mainly themselves) keeping all the songs fun. I’m having some difficulty describing the vocals, so go take a listen for yourself to make up your own mind. One thing I can tell you, though, is that if you like the Memphis Morticians (Who doesn’t?) you will love this band. This is down & dirty sick ass psychobilly, & it doesn’t get a whole lot better than that! Another interesting fact about TDT is that half the group is male, the other half is female. You don’t see that very often.

Life’s been pretty crazy as of late…I’ll get back on the interview band-wagon soon; fear not.
