Sorry the news is late…I just thought I would like to post my concern for the family and friends for Andy Martinez…as we all know passed away in a horrific and tragic turn of events in a SoCal car crash. We miss you, love you, and respect all your work Andy !

It has been confirmed and is now official !
The Black Rose Phantoms will be hitting the studio Feb 20th 2009 to record there second full length album. We know that some of you may have heard rumors that the band had broken or is braking up but that is completely false. The band has just been in heavy preparations and preproductions for the new year. We look forward to sharing our brand new music with you guys and seeing the out comes of it all. Album tracks, titles and record release date will fallow soon. Keep checking the page as we will be making some changes with the months to come.

What does 2009 bring for the Koffin Kats ? Read on if you dare !
Totally kickass that we have gotten so many messages regarding when we will be coming back around touring or about releasing new music. Hopefully i cant get through to a few people here and spread the word.
Something new this year is that we finally have a working website thats looks like a 11 year old made it as opposed to the old ones that look like a drunk baby made. www. koffinkatsrock. com We have had other ones with different addresses to them and lost all the rights to whatever web addresses we were using at the time. Those ones all sucked and never got off the ground because we really dont know a damn thing about websites. So once again for the official word and if you hate checking myspace all the time for our shit… www.koffinkatsrock.com
Then back home for a kickass weekender with The Creepshow in Detroit and Chicago where i plan to blackout and forget the fact that im turning 26 that weekend.
Blah blah blah shut up and tell us when your coming back out west… okay… Well see you in the first week of June as well be in Long Beach again for the Ink & Iron. Well also be doing some shows in the SoCal area at that time. More info to come on all that.
Throughout the spring and summer we will be home with a few midwest weekenders here and there. Currently were in talks to get over to Kosovo for a weekend in July. We will be working on some new material that we will be touring in support of for the fall…As well as E-ball and i will be working on a project called Caravan Noir and hope to have a release out by the fall as well. Early September will be the start of one of our longest runs yet. Coast to Coast U.S. hitting every town that we can get booked in.. and hopefully well be all legal again to enter Canada because we plan on coming there too.
If you are someone or know someone who is a competent promoter that actually flyers shows and knows how to book a show and be responsible for booking that that show (if your in a band thats been fucked over on gigs too many times you’ll know why im writing that) please contact Info@libertalia.us with “booking KK in the Fall” in the subject. We would love to work with you & hopefully you can help us get to towns we havent been through yet.
Oh yeah… If all goes as planned we will have the past 4 releases out on limited edition colored vinyl. Only 1000 will be pressed of each title in the color format. “Drunk In The Daylight” is already up and available on our website. You can only get these direct from us.
As for the questions about getting to Japan and Australia this year the answer is this: We absolutely want to but we cant in any way shape or form afford the flights over. Always willing to come over if someone wants to cover them for us though 
Well i think thats about it. Hope you all had a decent new years and didnt get fucked over too bad by how shitty the economy has turned in the last year. Detroit is falling apart even faster now it seems. May this year be at least survivable…

This Just in is an update of what the DEADCATS are up to:
We’re 75% done our new album ‘The DEADCATS ‘LOOK LIKE HELL’ , which will be coming out on Flying Saucer Records on CD, but maybe colored Vinyl too! It’ll feature 20 songs, some new, some re-recorded versions of our classics like ‘Peggy Suicide’, ‘Goin Down to Memphis’, & ‘Psychocat’. Some choice covers too…Charlie Feathers ‘One Hand Loose’, the insto classic ‘Apache’ & more. So far it sounds amazing, thanks to Marc L’Esperance for a fab engineering/producing job. Dual lead guitars, slappin’ dawghouse bass, Kermit Von Monster on the stand-up drums! Look for a June release.
The DEADCATS also had a few songs in independent Movie Soundtracks, and will be have a song (plus Mick) featured in the new CHOP SHOP reality show coming out soon!. LOOK for some regional tours in 2009, we also hope to do the West Coast USA as well. Europe if we can swing it.
